Goa, not a new name to be heard, also called India’s Official Party Hub. Among my friends, when I got a chance to plan out a small group tour to India, without investing a minute to go on a tour for a long thought-process, I came out with the only place that is Goa.
My trip to Goa can never fade away from my memory, I can claim, it is India’s first most amazing place to visit in the twenties. It is such a young and dynamic place with a variety of booze, Incredible Nightlife!, Beach Shacks and Restaurants, Fascinating Churches, Museums, Art Galleries and what not! I would love to suggest such an amazing destination for the party people.
2. Srinagar: Jewel of Kashmir
Being so fortunate enough, I got a chance to visit Kashmir for some official work, although I had already heard about its beauty, after going there I realized if there is ‘Heaven On Earth’, this is it. After getting done with my work I couldn’t stop myself from exploring heaven. I started with the most alluring lakes- Dal Lake and Nagin lakes (which provides you night stays in houseboats), Jama Masjid, Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya Hill, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Tomb of Zin-ul-Abidin, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip, Hazratbal Mosque. It was one of my best small group tours of India I have ever been to in my life.
3. New Delhi: Heart of India
One of the best historic places I have visited, if you want to see the whole of India at a single place, Delhi is the city. Our trip started from Busiest Old Streets to the magnificent heritage of the country-Red Fort, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Jantar Mantar, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Asia’s Biggest markets like Sadar Bazar, Chandni Chowk, and the ancient Temples- Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, ISCON, most visited Gurudwara Bangla-sahib and still has a long list. So if you are planning for Delhi, visit with ample of time.
4. Kerala: God’s Own Country
Guys if you are planning out your winters (Nov-Jan), and also you are Nature-Lover just like me;), then you should go for this Beautiful Green peaceful alluring city of India. I visited Kerala last year with my family, we experienced the enchanting wilderness of the city, Alappuzha Beach, TATA Tea Museum, Vembanad Lake, Mangla Devi Temple, Deepa World Spice & Ayurvedic Garden, Halcyon Castle, Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valiyaparamba Backwaters, Rock Cut Caves, Kerala’s list of such beautiful places would never come to an end. Everyone should visit such a green-rich city once in life.
5. Andaman: The Beach Land
Are you a great thriller, adventurous, looking forward to another Challenge, never tried underwater dive, so gonna tell you about the most gorgeous, site alluring, majestic stays land where you can experience the best time of life and it will give an urge of coming back for more. Andaman the beach heaven, its major attractions where we visited were: Corbyn’s Cove, Radhanagar beach, Radhanagar beach, and Wandoor Beach. It is a place of various water activities that attracts us a lot were: snorkeling, undersea walking, parasailing, jet-skiing, sport fishing, speed boating, Banana boat rides, sport fishing, scuba diving and one of my favorite undersea walking.
6. Kutch: The White Desert
Some of my relatives live in Gujrat, my first visit to this state made me more curious about knowing the best attraction points. At the top of the list, I found Kutch which is also known as the White Desert of India. Visiting no man’s place during the most known Kite Festival as adventure sports where it seems sky comes alive with its the best ever view of vibrant colored big-big Kites (you can only get here to see), this amazed me a lot. This was my fortune who made my group tour such a Delighted Festival. Also, I explored more to the rann of Kutch and its Museum, Prag, camel safari, Aina Mahal and Mandvi Beach.
7. Bir Billing: The Paragliding Capital Of India
One of the most captivating Paragliding Hub of India I explored is Bir Billing. Now it has become a major attraction for adventure enthusiasts of the state. It is located in the heart of Himachal, where you can also wander Billing Valley, Baijnath Shiv Temple, Shiva Shrine, and Chamunda Devi Temple. It was a wonderful experience for us, must-visit.
8. Rishikesh: Holy Adventurous Hub
Ganga, holiest river for India and a life-line to North Indians. Rishikesh is among one of the cities where Ganga passes. If you are planning out a budget-oriented adventurous trip, then this is the right place for you. Rishikesh is known for rides on fast-flowing waters of Ganga where you can experience the real adventure of life. Lakshman Jhula, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Rajaji National Park, Shivpuri River-Rafting point are some major attractions of the city.
9. Jim Corbett: The Tigers home
One of the most adventurous Jungles you can find in India is Jim Corbett National Park of Uttranchal. My geography research school trip to this place had really proved an adventurous trip I ever had with my school friends group. Royal Bengal Tiger sightings were fun and the best thing about this place is luxurious resorts that made us stay closer to nature and wildlife. We also visited Garjiya Devi Temple, Ramganga Dam, Jim Corbett Museum, Corbett Tiger Reserves, and Corbett Fall.
10. Shimla: Queen Land of India
Shimla is a natural beauty, every year when summer arises, the only thought comes to every Indian is to go to Shimla hill station. Shimla is also called the paradise of apples and snowy, white land of India. The best thing what we all loved most about the place is the Colored Joy Train which passes through the verdant valley and the pine forest, from Kalka to Shimla, this short train journey revives the childhood memories. There are many more places you can explore in Shimla like Jakhu Temple, Christ Church, Chadwick Falls and more.
